Blue Whippet Paintworks was set up by Jason Rourke, Jason started building and renovating frames at Rourke Cycles some 30 plus years ago, following on from father Brian, who has a wealth of framebuilding, renovation and cycle frame history behind him too. Their worry was always getting your design to look how you planned and the quality their frames deserve. After all the framebuilding, trusting the painter is the most difficult part. 

With the renaissance in steel frame building and how custom painting on cycles is becoming almost an art, Jason has been asked to paint other build handmade frames, and restore historic framesets to their original state and former glories, so Blue Whippet Paintworks was born.
